Amazing service. We had a great time as, a, family, including our four legged baby fur.

The hotel is charming. It’s not the most luxurious affair but everting is above average. Room comfortable and clean. Deluxe family has patio door with direct access to the garden is a plus. Their leisure facility is a bit tired and can be improved. Breakfast has enough variety. Staff friendly. Pleasant stay overall. Would recommend.

Excellent property, fantastic facilities, could have stayed a lot longer than one night! Beautiful surroundings, great choice of food and drinks, beautifully cleaned room. So close to Windermere and other locations, but felt so far away from all the hustle and bustle! Highly recommended property for couples, groups and families.

Excellent stay at this hotel. We visited as a family with 2 children. Great surroundings, delicious food, friendly staff, clean rooms and the pool was a real bonus for us!

A very comfortable country hotel with good food and great staff. It is a family hotel and very easy going. The restaurant overlooking a lovely garden was great.

I really cannot fault this hotel. Would definitely recommend. It's a little out of the way but it gives the perfect location after a busy day walking the lake District. We were nervous about taking our 4 mth old pup and worried dog friendly meant it wouldn't be clean. Far from it. No doggy smells. They have the perfect balance. You eat in the bar area with the dog. I like this idea as I didn't need to worry about other people getting peace to eat. Our room was at the back which made it easy to take get out to the gardens. My daughter was in the pool each day. She didn't want to leave. We ate in the hotel the first night. The food was great. Drinks are city prices, you expect that. Got to mention the very friendly staff. The lady at reception when we checked in was so bubbly and welcoming. Every staff member was excellent. My daughter left her bear at the hotel. They are kindly sending him home. Ill be recommending this hotel and hope to be back. The picture is from the bar area. Over looks the pond with a family of ducks the kids can feed.

Lovely stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed in a superior family room which was comfortable and well appointed. Nice modern bathroom, crisp sheets. Breakfast was self service - hot food was fresh and well cooked. Decent little pool and sauna/steam room. Didn’t use the small gym but that didn’t look busy. Very pretty location. We will be back.
