Really nice property with a lot of facilities. Good for long stays. 5 star to the staff. The kids Easter experience was a great surprise!

Great facilities with the pool/spa etc and lovely friendly staff. Room (226) was disappointing. Too hot at night: no air con, restricted opener windows and a plug in fan that made a din. The room overlooks the car park so a blind and black out curtains cut out the glare from the car park lights, but they do prevent ventilation so the room overheated and was stuffy and we had an awful sleepless night. No refrigerator for cooling drinks etc. stained carpet, a curtain hanging off the rail and poor water pressure in the shower. We didn’t feel the room justified the price at all. It took the manager 2 days to comment, advising that extra fans were available (which would have worsened the din!) and emphasising the included facilities and free golf which we felt rather irrelevant. It seems we should however have been told on arrival that the restrictors on the windows could be removed on request. We weren’t informed of the available children’s activities, food/drink options on arrival so discovered by accident when we met one of the activity facilitators who produced a flyer with details. Two food/drink orders had issues with them: one person’s hot drink did not arrive with an afternoon cream tea, which was slow in arriving anyway, and a side order on an evening meal was too oily to be edible. Overall the hotel did not meet our expectations on some very fundamental points.

We had a nice stay overall in Cornwall as family vacation...although it was a bit rainy weather...I booked a Seaview room and despite the fantastic views of the sea...the room was very small and not cheap comparing to other similar hotels...overall good in cmoparison to the hotels in the neighbourhood.
