Ringwood Hall Hotel & Spa

We had an eventful stay (not a good experience) but that was our issue and the fault of someone in our family. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and professional when faced with a difficult situation. I’ve scored highly because everything at the hotel was excellent. Loved the suite we stayed in.

The hotel is such a disappointment - it was overtaken with weddings on both days of our stay. Wish we had been told in advance as we would have cancelled or changed dates. the first night of our stay consisted of children running up and down the corridors and we couldn’t even get to the so called residents bar for a drink. We ended up going out for the evening even though we had intended to relax in the hotel and dine in the coach house. The lounge area near the coach house restaurant had seating available but this was covered in old food and it was freezing. The hotel is very dated and such a let down inside. The window frame in our room was rotting and with no double glazing the road noise is very loud. The tea and coffee making facilities are the most basic I’ve seen in a hotel in years. I work in a hotel of the same rating as Ringwood and I don’t think it meets expectations on any level.
