the room was okay staff was all nice, It was the restaurant that was poor, food wasnt very good, one meal we sent back, potions was small, so not good value for money, Breakfast was like a kids Breakfast, dontbthink we will stop there again

Hotel staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Large family suite was clean, though quite basic. Lovely location, food was very good, secluded yet a short drive from major centres. The dining room extends from the bar, and we found that we could overhear "salty language" from some construction men having a beer while we ate dinner with our children - not ideal. But that was an isolated incident. Overall very happy with the experience and we would stay there again.

Unfortunately when we checked in, the room allocated did not have sufficient beds for the number of guests we had booked for. It took 1.5hrs and 3 different beds before the issue was resolved. Not ideal when you have young children and want to get them settled swiftly (we checked in at 7pm with the hope of getting them straight into bed). Everything else about the hotel was fine, but obviously our key need was not met without significant disruption to our stay.
