Elstead Hotel

We stayed for one night in April as part of a commute with a newborn. We found the staff very polite and helpful, our room was very clean and the swimming pool and sauna was an added extra! Cannot comment on food as we didn’t eat there..Would come back!

Lovely place plus pool and whirlpool is real value for money. All staff and service were lovely, friendly and kind. Facilities in the room were plentiful for a small family. Amazing value for money. Thank you staff.

The staff at the hotel were fabulous. The pool was amazing, so clean. In fact the cleanliness was great throughout, where ever I went it was spotless. The breakfast was fine, there was full English, cereal, toast and fruit. I was lucky I was on 2nd floor in a lovely large room with a fridge and separate child’s bed for my granddaughter, not sure I would have been as happy if I was my daughter, who was in a very small room on 1st floor and had to share a bed with her 10 year old daughter, no fridge. So the rooms vary considerably and we paid exactly the same rate for 1 adult and 1 child. The only thing that stops me putting excellent for my stay was there was no air conditioning and the rooms were very very hot, and I had trouble sleeping. I guess you have to remember it’s an older style hotel and bring a small portable fan if staying in summer, it’s a little tired and outdated but I think it adds to the charm of the place, it has personality and is not just another hotel in a chain. Location was fine as close to train station and you can get a bus to beach which takes about 6 mins or so, if you don’t want to walk. The staff make this hotel for sure, lovely lady on reception made us feel so welcome.

Hotel very clean, delicious and plentiful breakfast. Perfect for a stay with a child. Room very spacious and comfortable beds. We'll be back here for sure.

Hotel was accommodating after request regarding the family room, this enabled our holiday to be more affordable

I had a lovely few nights stay at the Elstead Hotel....The staff were so friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. The hotel and staff have a cosy, family feel to it which made me feel very comfortable. I have already recommended this hotel to my parents, who are looking to go to Bournemouth for a few nights and i would definitely stay here again...thank you for making my mini-break so lovely. An example of why to not judge a book by its cover. Great features in the family room. - fridge, ironing board and iron, lots of storage space, cot/ play pen for baby. Really lovely staff & service. Swimming pool nice and warm and they even provide bags to put your wet clothes into. 👏👌 Would definitely recommend and if in the area, stay again!
