The Stanley Hotel

A very beautiful & Modern Hotel ♥️ we only stayed the one night for family funeral. On arrival we were greeted at reception by a wonderful lady called Emma a real credit to this business, anything we wanted to know we were given a very good detailed reply. Room was big enough for just 2 of us amazing building moden throughout , alot of thought has been put into this hotel. The shower was one of the best ive had in a room before fluffy towels warm from towel rail 😍 bed really comfy. Was a very warm room but we opened the windows & cooled very quickly but maybe a issue in real hot weather as noisy from the traffic but there was a fan in the room! Floors were very creaky & noisy & when a lorry ect went past outside then the room would vibrate 😀 luckly very few lorries but later we were told it was a listed building & of course only so much can be done, this did not effect our stay. Breakfast was enough all very fresh & thought about & we were even asked if any suggestions to improve but no need as all 100% Highly recommended this hotel & would definitely stay again. The hotel itself was nice enough. Modern, clean, in a great location and a good price. On a different night the stay may have been different but on the night of our stay it was roasting in the room due to no air conditioning. The window opened on to a back alley which was incredibly noisy from some sort of machinery. We had youngsters playing loud music in the room next to us until 4am!! They were running up and down the corridor banging doors and shouting. Because of the late night we missed breakfast due to not being able to get up in time. There didn't seem to a member of staff on hand to speak to even when we left. I have tried to contact the hotel but had no reply. Awful stay and was shattered after
