Boston West Hotel

Excellent 2 night stay. Easy fast check in. Room was very spacious and clean. Fantastic friendly staff. Great bar area overlooking the childrens play area so enjoyed a pint while still keeping an eye on the grandkids. Will certainly use this Hotel again. Thanks

Good size family room, comfy beds and good power shower. We got the room for a great price. Only downside was the person in the room next door keeping their tv on all night and being able to hear it

Stayed here a couple times You have to go round to the clubhouse to check in It’s not manned and waited a few mins which is all good. Hotel is situated away from facilities. The vending machine in the hotel lobby was empty My room was a family room situated up stairs. In the lobby upstairs there are creases in the carpet which are trip hazards When you go through the corridor to the left there is a big dent in the floor which is dangerous right by a door & cause to fall. The family rooms are large. Shower over bath which is lovely. The water is far far too hot. Yes there is a warning sticker but this is kettle temp scalding hot The skirting boards had brown marks across them. It’s clear the hotel has had money spent on it and the smaller rooms are beautiful but the family rooms just feel forgotten. Be prepared to plug in all the tv wires and retune the tv when you arrive. So if you have kids and they want the tv on. My previous stay was a much better experience I would have had breakfast but prefer it to be within the hotel not having to walk to clubhouse. The Wheatsheaf pub which is a few minutes walk best place for dinner and worth the 5 min walk from hotel.

The bed was rock hard, the pillows extremely lumpy and I was unable to use the shower due to the temperature of the water. It was not adjustable enough to reduce it to useable level. Overall the hot water was dangerously hot for young children or unsuspecting adults. There is a warning sign, but not everyone can read!!!!!!! The breakfast was limited - no fresh fruit or yogurt, or much other outside a hot breakfast. Despite menu stating the choices, there was no gluten free bread and no brown bread. The best part - the staff were amazing and very helpful. Sad that the hotel lets them down.

I was travelling with small kids and they loved playground area. Convenient parking at the property. I would suggest add to address that’s it’s located within Apple tree holiday park as the post code took us to a wrong destination.

Stayed a few times at this hotel when visiting family. Always an enjoyable stay

The driveway into the golf course looked amazing and grand then when we went into the hotel room we were quite unimpresses! Just a basic room which the window looked onto a busy road! We asked if we could upgrade but with no joy. The lady on the front desk was lovely and apologetic and said she would keep an eye on a different room of it came up. The on site childrens play area was lovely. But again disappointed as the hotel offered no food either at evening time or breakfast! The main reason for booking the hotel as it was to give my grandchildren an overnight hotel experience away near the beach. But instead if having a nice dinner in the hotel we had to go to the local pub to eat. And again in the morning we had to go and find the local cafe. Its such a shame the hotel is positioned right next ti the road it does not tell you this on the website when booking that youll end up with a room with the window you csn only slightly open in the hot weather. Im sorry as i do not like leaving bad reviews as i myself run a business.

Great hotel, would definitely stay again. Quiet hotel, lovely shower and toiletries. Very hot temperature in the stairwells, No aircon in the room but a fan was provided, we didn’t actually use it. Very comfy beds, some of the pillows were little bit lumpy. Super facilities for children at the bar with a great play area and splash pad. Food & service were good, but drinks & food prices were a bit higher than we were expecting.
