Well our room was small and tired!! The corridor up to it needs re decorating. The room needed decorating, new carpets, new furniture including a bed as the mattress lent to the right and my husband struggled not to fall out. Windows need replacing. Needs air con as the room never cooled down for our full stay even though the window was open and fan on from the minute we got there. Need a fridge in the room to keep drinks cold. Had to keep asking for ice from the bar. TV was that small you couldn’t see properly from the bed. Dusty in places people don’t always look. Bathroom tiles broken, hair in the plug holes of the bath meant the water didn’t drain properly, dust in the extraction fan and fan in the room. Breakfast was ok but toasters weren’t set properly and juice, tea and coffee not drinkable. We had the evening meal once and was ok but small portions and restaurant opening times are restrictive. We eat after 8pm so 6pm to 8pm was too early. Bars were ok and plenty to choose from. Pool area ok but children playing with balls and jumping in constantly meant we couldn’t swim. Shower in changing room broken and changing room floor was dirty. The whole hotel needs an upgrade!!

First of all, apart from one loud bloke one morning.on reception the rest of the staff were brilliant. Big shout.out.to.reception team and Kaylee in the restaurant. Unfortunately on arrival I couldn't park so had to find alternative during the week. I chose the room going on the photos and one were allocated was tiny, decor was tired and there was no way an adult can use the loo. That layout is ridiculous and doesn't work. Anyone other than a child would struggle. Went to reception and explained situation. They did change rooms to something like I had.booked and although bathroom.small it's layout worked for me, which was essential as I have medical needs. The 2nd room did smell of paint but looked recently refurbished and was world away from.previous. Please.if.you need a plug near the bed take an.extension.as when I asked it seems none.of the rooms have socket.near.bed.. something I've never come across and disappointed when need machine at night. Food can't fault the service. Menu repetitive and too fussy. Why can't have more.normal.choice? Older lift doors dodgy trapped.me as I entered and took too long to retract.

A excellent hotel I'm surprised it's not more than a two star. We were well looked after, being a disabled couple they couldn't do enough for us. The room was comfortable the beds were great, the room was clean and tidy bathroom had bath with shower over the bath. The buffet breakfast is good plenty of options and will cater for any allergies you may have. Evening meal was ok some of the set mains were too spicy for us but well prepared the starters and deserts were help yourself. Also they cater for couples, families and single travelers

Beds too soft Too small reception area Lifts v slow Rooms need updating Bathroom inadequate and small but all clean. Great for tram. Breakfast great, loads of choice and on the whole hot, all staff smiley and helpful in all departments Would definitely stay again. Major downside and absolutely not the hotels fault was children running round even at midnight, should definitely be an adults only bar/entertainment area

It's a large family hotel by a tram stop, so convenient for everything you need to do in Blackpool. The spa facilities are small but the gym was well equipped. Breakfast was excellent.

excellent stay with family at the Cliffs hotel, great location, access to transport, sea view with good food and entertainment. I noticed the rooms could do with modernising and with showers (rather than bath) to bring them up to date .. but had a great stay.

Myself and my husband stayed for 2 night in August. The hotel was better than i had expected. Plenty to do and lots of space. The cocktails were amazing! Food was lovely too. Rooms r very clean, could prob be doing with a freshed up of decor, but still nice enough. If anything, i would say reception staff couldve been more attentive than talking amongst each other as guests r waiting. The views outside hotel were beautiful. We will b back again this year with our kids this time. Looking forward to it.

Ok hotel for a short break. Stayed b&b for four nights but must be used to our kingsize bed at home because the bed felt like the smallest double bed ever! Breakfast was buffet style with no variation every morning and dependant on the time could be a bit of a zoo as the hotel was full. Hourly pool sessions were to book giving everyone a chance to use the facility. Just popped into the entertainment venue one night for a short while to see a comedian who was best described as lmited as there were lots of children in the room. Overall if you want somewhere with a clean bed and a full english every morning with a tram stop opposite the front door then you can't go wrong.

Very busy Wed - Frid with OAPs. Only 1 lift working. Very noisy at w/e with young families. Dining hours to suit catering staff and not clients I.e. Breakfast started at 8.30a.m. Coffee/snack bar closed at 4.00pm Restaurant closed at 6.00pm. After I checked in at 5.00pm and unpacked discovered too late to get any food. These restrictive hours not mentioned on website nor in bedroom literature. No separate shower.
