Stirrups Hotel

Tge room was fantasitic for a family of 5 plenty of space. The food was excellent and the location also. It was less than a 10 minute drive to legoland. It was great to relax in the peaceful gardens after a busy day out.

We were very impressed by the family room. It’s difficult to get rooms for a family of 5 but our room had a large king size bed plus 3 single size beds. The room was huge! The colouring packs on the kids bed were a lovely welcome.

Property - absolutely lovely hotel with lovely clean rooms and bedding Staff - really friendly hotel staff, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a happy one, issues we encountered on arrival were dealt with swiftly (we were given a travel cot for our 9 year old to sleep in). And when we had to return later in the day to retrieve left behind shoes. Restaurant - really let this hotel down on our stay. We went down for an evening meal after arriving later than we expected, so only ordered main courses as we wanted to get our 9 yr old to bed, it took over 2 hours just to serve us 3 main meals, of which the child’s chicken burger was almost inedible. We walked out of breakfast the next morning without eating after waiting over 1 hour 40 minutes just for 2 full English breakfast and scrambled eggs on toast for our 9 yr old. They were apologetic, but it meant we arrived at Legoland late ( the reason for our stay) and hungry. As much as we liked the hotel we’re sadly not sure we would stay again.

We had a fantastic time at the Stirrups hotel, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We arrived at hotel in the evening, when all of the outdoor fairy lights in the garden were on - it was lovely! The hotel itself is very charming with its country gardens and little pond. Our family room was large and comfortable and just perfect for crashing after a day at Legoland with the kids. Give the chance we would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Stirrups. My daughter and I were going to Royal Windsor Horse Show and thought it would be nice to stay in an equine themed hotel! It is a lovely looking building on arrival, there is plenty of parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was a function on the second night of our stay, and the hotel had already contacted us to let us know, and said we would be put in a quiet part of the hotel. We stayed in "The Stables" which is a modern building at the back of the hotel. We had a lovely large family room with views over the garden. The room was very spacious and well equiped- with a full size ironing board and very large en suite with bath and separate walk in shower. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel was 15-20 minute drive from Windsor which was convenient for our trip. It cost approximately £20 for a taxi into Windsor when we went to meet friends at a restaurant. On the second night we ate at Stirrup's restaurant, the food was very good, my daughter enjoyed her meal from the kids menu and there was a good selection on the main menu, (mid to higher end prices). Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Stirrups is a lovely hotel, stylish and clean, with great food and a nice, quiet atmosphere. It’s aimed at Ascot goers but with Legoland only a short drive away, during our stay most other guests were families with children. I think the hotel would profit from a small playground or a corner with games and books for little ones. Still, it’s a great value for money!

Lovely staff. V helpful and friendly. V comfortable stay. Thank you for the Easter eggs for our children.

We had a lovely overnight stay here and was upgraded to the junior suite. The room is well equipped and immaculately clean with a lovely walk in shower. Only comment is we found the pillows quite hard, but that’s personal choice. The hotel also has lovely surroundings and very friendly helpful staff.

Stayed for one night. Lovely hotel. We had our toddler and they left a colouring pack in the room for her. Food in restaurant was very nice, room very clean. Bed was slightly to firm for our liking but that was the only issue. The gardens look fantastic, however it was winter so we didn’t get a chance to go out and enjoy them.
