Great place to relax and unwind Also great for family’s around the pools and water slides

We stayed in a boat suite right in front of the pool. The room was fantastic with an amazing view. I love the proximity of the pool to the beach. The resort is very quiet and peaceful. There is a kids area but I didn't notice it being too noisy. The breakfast buffet was good. The resort is located in a small village with several dining options, massage spas, convenience stores. It is 15 min taxi to Fishermans Village and 15 min taxi to Chaweng. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived on december 26 and left december 28th. We drove from the reception to a lounge reception which is located at the main pool and I was speechless about the amount of children - I don't think I exaggerate if I say there was at least 20-30 (small and loud) kids in the main pool.. It had a aqualand vibe - NOT a luxury hotel vibe - at all! And it is such a shame, because the hotel is beautiful and have the potential to be sooo nice and sophisticated, but with all those kids, it's the exact opposite. The hotel doesn't say adults only, so that was my mistake, but looking at the pictures, I didn't get the Disney World feeling, so I didn't expect arriving at a kindergarden, but we definitely did. The hallway outside the room was very noicy too. We woke up pretty early, because the kids were screaming outside our door on the way to the breakfast. And last but not least, the housekeeping came into our room at 9am the day we were checking out. He rang the bell and then immediately opened the door 1 sec after. My boyfriend stood in the middle of the room in only his underwear... I don't understand why they even attempted to enter the room before we had check out? My recommendation is definitely (IF you like peace and quiet) to not go here during any kind of holiday season where kids might occur. On the positive site, we had booked a room with a lounge access (had no clue before we arrived) and that pretty much saved the stay, as there was private lounge breakfast etc.

First time with 2 kids and I couldn’t have picked a better place. Melia resort and staff are absolutely amazing. The resort pools are nice and the beach is crystal clear. Highly recommend rooms with a pool access.

This is a lovely hotel. However, if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing hotel, this is not a good choice as this hotel caters to young families with children and it it extremely noisy. That being said, the grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean, the service is spectacular (a shout out to Joe, super helpful), excellent breakfast, beachfront location is perfect. The hotel really is very good overall. We just wish there was a section for adults to get some quiet chill time.
