Avani+ Koh Lanta Krabi Resort

The property is very beautiful and felt like a hidden oasis. We really enjoyed relaxing- Definitely get an ocean view room - not a pool view - unless you don't mind kids. The staff was really friendly. The food was okay- definitely not my favorite throughout Thailand but we did really enjoy the breakfast buffet. It had anything and everything. There a little bar (called the Reggae Bar) where you can watch the sunset and its really beautiful. I would recommend going out to eat at some of the local spots outside of the resort- Fat Monkey was a personal fave! The resort offered Kayaks and snorkel masks for us to use - free of charge- which was really nice for exploring. They have a few chairs on the private beach, but I wish there would have been more lounge like chairs like at the pool but on either the private or public beach. Everything else was wonderful- I would definitely recommend staying here if you travel to Ko Lanta.

Hotel is just perfect... Very nice and clean rooms, great pool, friendly stuff, whole complex is on hill, so you need to walk up and down again, but of you don't want to walk, there is free shuttle service and in comes on seconds. Food also good. Highly recommended for couples or families who are looking for quiet and clean place.

I traveled along my boyfriend on June 2015 to Koh Lanta, an Island South of Thailand, and stayed at the Crown Lanta for 4 nights. We both live in Asia but It was our first time on Thailand so we didn't knew much about the place since is not such a crowded area like Phi Phi or Phuket, but as soon as we arrived to the hotel we felt like royalty. Seriously, the staff greets you at the beautiful open lobby, you do your check in sitting down in a comfy sofa, drinking some fresh beverages and soaking your face in fresh scented towels, not needed to say the staff is super friendly and willing to help in anything you need, like booking trips, cars, anything. They also have staff that will set you up with activities like snorkeling. We stayed in a room with private pool, and must say that the service was amazing, the facilities are beautiful and very comfortable. The place is always clean, and the breakfast buffet is DELICIOUS! besides they have free shuttles to the town (Saladan, that is like 5 minutes from the hotel) so you don't have to spend on Tuk tuk's (bike taxis). They have great food in the hotel (and also at Saladan you can go to local restaurants, that serve fresh seafood: very very good food) and various bars with delicious cocktails. Also we used the Spa Services, very very nice service at a very good price. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to have a royal experience, relaxing time and have quality time with your family or partner. You won't regret it! LOVED IT

We stayed in one of the 4 private pool rooms (#2124). This room has the best view of all rooms in this 5 star hotel. It has a private infinity pool onlooking the Andaman sea to the West with Phi Phi island in the distance giving you the most amazing sunsets you will ever witness from your very own private pool, Living room or Bedroom. Since the Resort is built on a very hilly area, they supply a 'bus' ride to and from the restaurants, pool, front desk and of course your room. Just dial 0 and say either bus stop A, B or C and they will come. The food is extremely good. The resort has a Private Beach and one of the restaurants balcony over looks it. The swimming pool is very nice with a swim up bar, 4 semi-submerged massaging lounge chairs (the bubble intensity is extreme and extreme only so bystanders beware) and three 8-14 feet submerged massaging benches. All with a baby pool with turtle water fountains that don't work but still nice. The breakfast is AMAZING along with the staff. Best Thailand Hotel experience yet!
