Good breakfast and a good pool for little kids.

So amazing! We booked a room and were upgraded to the 12th floor which gave us access to the Horizon Lounge where we got breakfast, happy hour (with real dinner food and alcohol) and a personal concierge. Pat, one of the ladies who works at the concierge was EXTREMELY helpful. She helped with recommendations, getting us a local taxi, and even called the Elephant Nature Park on our behalf to double check our booking (it wasn’t a booking through the hotel). The pool is awesome for kiddos. There are two lifeguards on duty. One thing to note is that the kids’ side hardly gets any sun due to a tall building in the way. They have 5 canopy beds which is first come first serve. We would DEFINITELY stay there again.

Fantastic staff who went above and beyond to help accommodate our family during a medical emergency with my father in law. My sincerest gratitude to the Shangri-La staff. The hotel is also perfect for kids, my two daughters loved the waterslide. The poolside service is excellent and the food is very good. We will return!

From reception to room service and housekeeping, all the staff were of a quality that I could not have imagined in any other hotel, with heartfelt greetings and attentive service. Not only was my son well made up in his extra bed, but he was so delighted with the various gifts he received that he was in tears when he left. It will be a wonderful memory for our family.
