S15 Sukhumvit Hotel

I enjoyed my stay until the end. Staff got really weird about a keycard and then proceeded to tell me my room smelled like cannabis. Are you kidding me?? It smelled like mold and tobacco. Cannabis would be an improvement.

S15 is a lovely hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is extremely clean and always smells lovely! Our room was really nice esp the bathroom. Breakfast was good and all the staff in the restaurant were so helpful and polite. We didn't try any of the other facilities, the spa was closed so do check before booking if you want to use the spa. One thing that was disappointing was walking in to the room to four boxes of condoms laid on a table. Why?! Apparently this is a mini bar item. My room booking was for myself and my child, they knew this and should have used their common sense not to have this in our room. They could leave a note in their folder of information on how people can discreetly purchase these from reception or the bar. It is worth noting that the area around the hotel is not suitable for families. It feels very unsafe. There are people selling drugs. There are so so many prostitutes grabbing male tourists. Stalls selling sexual items with big posters of vibrators and strap ons. Shops with window displays of nothing but condoms. It was seedy and unsafe, so I wouldn't stay here again. Be wary of the taxi drivers too. The hotel got me a taxi driver and told me 500bhat to airport which he agreed to. We get to airport and i had over 1000bhat and then he claimed not to have any change. I would recommend Terminal 21 for food and shopping. Overall, nice hotel in an awful location.

Overall a good stay Good experience: spacious room as I had book junior suite. Good service by hotel staff. Very good location as it’s less than 5min walk to Terminal 21 mall or Asoke BTS. Breakfast quality consider as good. Toilet is spacious even with the bathtub inside Bad experience: room card not activated even after check in. Had to wait till night time before their system is able to do so. Found a used condom wrapper below the bed. Aircon temperature not able to tune (it was too cold). Hotel entrance have plenty of lady/ladyboys hanging around waiting for customer.
