Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok

I had an outstanding stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making our family feel welcomed. The hotel's family-friendly atmosphere was perfect for us. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious. Additionally, its central location near public transportation, restaurants, and shopping made our exploration of the city convenient and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Good location, only a short walk from BTS Asoke and Terminal 21. I used to stay slightly further out for better value but now have a daughter who doesn't like walking so this place was ideal. We had a King size bed that was enough to fit 2 adults and a child. I did ask for another bed to bed at check-in but it never came. I didn't mind as the King sized bed worked out ok so didn't make a fuss about it. Room was a good size with some signs of wear and tear. The free internet was fast enough but limited to a certain number of devices. I only found out when my wife couldn't connect, I'd already taken up 3 slots by this point. TV in the room didn't really work because it was linked to the internet and the picture quality was unwatchable. Not a problem for us because we didn't watch TV it. I tried to hook up my Amazon Firestick but it didn't work. Possibly due to limitations of the internet. Buffet breakfast was reasonable with a good selection for the price but with a lot of other options within walking distance it's probably best for lazier people. There's a rooftop bar with a great view, we didn't use it, only went up to take some night photos. Swimming pool was ok, but probably a bit small if it ever got busy (was never that busy when we used it) and could have done with better lighting once the sun went down.

I was disappointed. I extra booked the aradissom for the wellness and the lounge access. Both was not usabel and this was nowhere mentioned. They offered in the lobby lounge service inc intercontinental breakfast. Come one a 3 star hotel offered here more variation. Room was nice but maintained terrible shower was in a terrible condition right lamp from the bed not working. The only really good thing was the rooftop bar everything else was just ok for a expected Radisson junior suit quality or behind expectation. Would consider booking Radisson again as this is not my first bad experience.
