Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Carlton Hotel. It’s conveniently located within 5 mins walking distance to BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit stations. We were able to get to major attractions as well as Suvarnabhumi airport using public transport. We arrived at the hotel at close to midnight but check in was quick and simple as the reception desk is open 24 hours. The staff are super friendly and smile and greet you every time they see you in the foyer. We stayed in a family room which was perfect for us and our 2 kids. The pool was lovely to cool down in after a day exploring in Bangkok. This hotel is close to many high end shopping centres, Soi Cowboy and Termibsl 21. We especially loved eating at Pier 21 at Terminal 21 (5th floor) which offered many food choices. Everything was delicious so you can’t go wrong. We will definitely stay at the Carlton hotel again when we are back in Bangkok.

Quite new hotel, convenient location although the traffic around the area is terrible. The room is huge and it’s very good as a family room

Lovely clean hotel and very accomodating staff. We stayed in a family room but there was only one very small bathroom. Would have rather purchased two rooms for the same price and had more space and an extra bathroom facility.

Beautiful new hotel, great views, good pool, great food options and really good room service. Love the connecting family rooms. Exceptional value.

I am staying family room in 30 floor . And the room is connected to another room . They sound insulation is really poor . I can hear those Korean live nearby keep talking during the World Cup at mid- night .

Had the best experience in this hotel. Room was very clean and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Ask for Mr. Wat in the bell service he was helpful and kind. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family. This hotel deserves the 5 stars it claims.

My family & I stayed at Carlton for 5D4N & it was really comfortable!! The two-room four-bed set-up (family suite) is fantastic for families!! The location is great as it is sandwiched between Terminal 21 & EM Quartier. In terms of eco-friendliness, perhaps the hotel can consider using pump bottles instead of individual disposable tubes of body wash & shampoo. Breakfast range & quality is okay but not too extensive or exquisite. Overall, a wonderful stay!! 🌟

Carlton's listing indicates 2 bathrooms for the Family Connecting room is inaccurate. It is only 1 Powder room (WC + Sink) and 1 Tub & Shower. Prior to our stay, I've contacted Hotels.com representative to enquire if there are indeed 2 bathrooms (2 WC + 2 Shower) and I was told yes, there are. This made it rather inconvenient for my family and I. We actually cancelled an initial booking with another hotel with 2 proper bathrooms for our Carlton stay. When we brought this up to Carlton, their service recovery was bad. Not wanting this to spoil our holiday mood, we just let this matter slide. Location is not ideal if you plan to travel on the roads. Traffic jam is really bad at Carlton area. However, if you plan your travel via BTS, it's relatively convenient. There are better hotel options in terms of convience (BTS & Road) and comfort. Hotel buffet breakfast is rather pricey as compared to other hotels. But there are a few good breakfast option just a short walk away. Good to note, in case of the after hours hunger, there's a 24hours Subway nearby. We will not be in Carlton again, for the fact that the traffic is bad at its area.
