Spacious room, comfortable beds, helpful host family, wonderful terrace, an overall very pleasant stay

The interior design was well themed and felt luxurious. The family running this hotel were extremely kind and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. House keeping was offered everyday. Would love to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone else visiting Sun Moon Lake!

This hotel is absolutely lovely. The interior with lots of wood makes it feel very warm and comfortable. Rooms are extremely spacious and we even had a tiny balcony. The bed was very comfortable as well. Instead of a breakfast buffet, you'll get served a fixed set of dishes and a drink, which is common for small hotels. Let them know on check in if you have special requests (vegetarian or similar). Slight downside is that on the second day, one of our orders got messed up and we got a few wrong things but it was still good. The staff (it seems to be family run) was super friendly and tried everything to make it a perfect stay for us. The location is very convenient if you arrive by the " around the lake" shuttle bus. After getting off at Itathao stop, it's just 1-2 minutes walk along the street. We will definitely stay here again during our next trip.

A clean, comfortable family run hotel with European decor. Decent mostly Western breakfast, with limited seating and time (7:30-9). Our room had a nice, somewhat distant view of the lake from the 8th floor. Parking available but a bit inconvenient. Very friendly, helpful staff. Happy to recommend this place!
