The Chitou Lemidi Hotel

Our stay with the family and friends was pleasant and relaxing. This is not a high end hotel by international standards, and is very "local" in feel and looks, but it was nonetheless pleasant. The only disappointment is the proximity to the Xitou park and Monster Village, and lack of shuttle bus to and from. It's a good 10-15 minute walk. Doesn't sound much, but it does make a difference when you're with toddlers and the elderly. They said they had shuttles during the weekday but not on the weekends, which was beyond me. Otherwise, the service was decent, and we loved the band in the afternoons and evenings. Wish they had a bigger crowd to support them! Overall a fun and relaxing stay.

I had a very good impression with this hotel. I went with my families to Xitau in April 2015. When we arrived there by Taiwan Tourist Shuttle bus, we found out the hotel was located at the uphill. We tried to walk to the hotel but it was quite tired for my mum to walk. The hotel saw our situation from their view and sent their own van to pick us up. This kind of free service had already impressed me so much. Later, they still offered such kind of sweet service to drop off us to Xitau Nature Education Area and Monster Village. Very friendly and helpful hotel I ever stayed.

We enjoyed our trip. Location is great. Breakfast is super. my kid had a good time in play room. Great for family Trip.
