Royal Plaza Montreux

Our honeymoon trip was accented beautifully for our one night in Montreux. The Royal Palace Montreux was located not far from a local bus stop so getting there was simple. It’s also located near a plethora of shops and restaurants, not to mention right along the lake and so beauty was right outside our balcony door. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the check-in process a delight. The staff provided information for local activities, a map, and information for discounted rides. The tickets provided by the front desk offered a discount on our trip to the Chillon Castle as well, which was handy. The room (junior suite) was spacious, comfortable, and offered a stunning view of the mountains. We had a well-sized balcony with a small table and chairs. In the room we had a comfortable bed, coffee machine, and mini fridge, though this was stocked as a mini bar. Also in the room were some delicious chocolates and a warm greeting from the manager. I simply have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Everything was wonderful and if we return to the Lausanne/Montreux area, this will be my hotel of choice!
