Scandic Park

This is a return visit to Scandic Park and it doesn't disappoint. Welcoming staff, spacious room, clean and modern. Lovely courtyard opposite a pleasent park, great for kids.

Reception staff were welcoming and friendly. We asked for 2 rooms close together and they were able to accommodate this request without problem. The rooms are well equipped ( fridge, hairdryer, ironing board, kettle etc). They are both spacious and clean. The hotel is in a quiet location next to a beautiful park ( with playgrounds which is great for kids). Several restaurants/ cafes within walking distance. Very close to public transport ( buses and T- bane) which makes getting around the city so easy. Only negative for me was the breakfast/ breakfast room. It was in a small room in the the basement and even with a booking system it always felt very crowded. The selection was adequate but a lot of the time it looked like the food had been lying on the plate for a long time and was not particularly appealing. We opted to go to a cafe on our last day. Overall though I think that the hotel has far more positives than negatives in terms of location, room size/ standard and staff. Would definitely stay there again if I’m ever lucky enough to return to Stockholm.
