St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino

We just left the resort it was better than we expected. The food at all restaurants was very good. The room was cleaned everyday. The pool was nice and the drinks were good. The staff is super friendly the only thing that was a bit slow was the food , but even with that the staff was so good and friendly we didn’t mind waiting. Our child was free Without all inclusive and we didn’t come to expending closed to one person paying for all inclusive so save your money and just pay as you go.

Nice room and facilities. Nice beach but ocean very rough surf and big rocks. Nice pools but not for lap swimming. Not much program or cavities for kids

Area around hotel run down and construction happening therefore, limited things to do. Requires taxi/transportation to any activity planned. Beach was not what expected. Lots of seaweed on shoreline making it undesirable to walk through to get in ocean. Since beach is public locals pushing sales of things. At one point a man pushed his dirty monkey on my children then saying we needed to pay him $20 for a picture with that dirty monkey. Then made to feel uncomfortable when walking away. The pool are was relaxing with great planned activities. Really enjoyed morning water aerobics and making tie dye T-shirts.

My daughter and I have been staying at this property for over six years. This past year, we stayed there 4 times and each time we were not disappointed. The Marriott recognizes us as members and is very generous with complimentary upgrades. If there is a problem with the room, the staff are there to help you 24/7. This year, the island if St. Kitts as other Caribbean islands, has been faced with an abundance of seaweed (sargassum) washing up on its Atlantic side beaches. Workers are out there bulldozing the seaweed away every morning and the Marriott is transporting its occupants to the Caribbean beaches where this is not a problem. My family will be staying at the Marriott again in 2019. We cannot wait! It is the perfect place to call home while I teach at the medical school in St Kitts and take new photos to add to my book “Snorkeling St. Kitts”. St. Kitts and the Marriott never disappoint.

The property was wonderful! Very friendly service from all staff. The primary difficulty in the summer months is the seaweed on the beach; however the hotel provides a free shuttle to two local beaches to compensate. Those beaches are amazing. All the amenities (restaurants, pools, casino, gym/basketball, etc.) provided plenty to do. Very family friendly but also large enough to have privacy for our honeymoon destination.

Having a walking disability and newly diagnosed gluten sensitivity, I was quite anxious about my being able to enjoy a lengthy time away from home. After contacting the food service staff, they assured me they deal with special food requests all of the time. Upon arrival, the staff met with me and my family and discussed meal options and accommodations. There was the ability to have special meals prepared, also using food I brought, and a wide array of offerings that could be tweaked on ordering. The location was near enough to most sights and attractions for walking or calling a cab for a small fare. Of all the other beaches visited in the area, none compared in beauty or accessibility. We were so delighted, we are talking of returning again.

While there my family and I spent time in the pools,casino, had yoga class,ate walked around and enjoyed the compound. I would have a more enjoyable time if there was a night club that we could go dancing after hours.
