Port Hotel Alicante City & Beach

It was a good experience for us in this Hotel. The check in was faster and the staff are welcoming and caring ! The room was clean and fonctionnal. The pool is nice but there are many children and that makes the experience noisy.

The service was very friendly in the restaurant. Especially waiter named Pepe, was warm and friendly towards our whole family. Also the cleaner of our hotel room, whose name don’t know, was very considerate of our baby. Hopefully she finds this feedback. Cleaned the seventh floor on 14-21.8.2024.

Check in was delayed despite being told our room should be ready by around 3.30, we didn't get to our room till well after 5pm. The reception did ring me to confirm our rooms were ready which was nice. The bed was rather uncomfortable being quite hard and there could be better shelving/drawer space. There is no hanging for dresses. (Well there is but it's very short so don't expect to hang your dress without folding it). A suggestion for outside towel racks on the balcony as everyone hangs their towels over the balcony railing which doesn't look nice. The upstairs pool should be Adults only/no under 16's/18's. The pool downstairs is sufficient for children and with the bar and 'chill out' atmosphere upstairs on the roof, it was spoilt by having shouting children in the pool. The service in BOGO in the evening was very slow. I think management needs to do some undercover reviews and further training for staff upstairs in the evening. Despite that, the staff were friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere upstairs very much. All staff we came across were friendly and willing to please.

Property is perfectly clean and well maintained, staff is super polite and attentive, food was excellent, the hotel was full, but the atmosphere was quiet, everyone keeping to themselves, and the pools were delicious! Great rooftop area with pool and bar, close to the beach, easy transportation around, great restaurants, and a supermarket 200m away. Great choice that made our family holidays even more magical.

During our family's Easter holiday break, we stayed at Hotel Port Alicante City & Beach. The room was immaculately clean, and although there was a delay in receiving our bath towels, a quick chat with reception resolved the issue. The staff made every effort to communicate with us in English, with one even using her mobile phone to translate and avoid any misunderstandings. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and my son slept well on the large sofa bed. We had access to fast Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and there were two pools. However, when we found the main pool too cold for our kids, the receptionist suggested we try the rooftop pool, which turned out to be warmer and made the kids very happy. While the overall experience was positive, I recommend that Hotel Port Alicante City & Beach management speak to the breakfast staff, particularly the women who cook the eggs and pancakes. They appeared unhappy and lacked a friendly demeanour. When I requested well-cooked eggs due to my dietary restrictions, I received a lousy look instead of a reply. They seemed to avoid any communication. However, I would like to thank Jose and Sandra, who were friendly and talkative at the night bar. Another lady at the bar even went above and beyond by recommending the best place to eat paella from her personal list. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Port Alicante City & Beach and would not hesitate to return in the future.

Hotel Looks on the picture very nice, modern and fashion, they saying 4 stars but suddenly we’re gotten a alder built building, unfortunately everything was terrible starting from lifts, shower and children bed. Very disappointed

Nice room, good breakfast, nice common areas, friendly staff. I preferred the the rooftop pool, as there were fewer children there. The pool did not have the best cleaning system, and the water got very dirty through the day - cleaner pool and some umbrellas would have made the experience even better. The doors to the room were not soundproof, and you could wake up from people running and speaking loudly in the hallways in late evening or night time.
