Pros: comfy bed, lovely staff, good shower pressure, good A/C, great location, great food options in restaurant and room service Cons: loud, screaming children (if you don’t want this book level, the adults only), breakfast buffet is a zoo and food is not worth the price (go off property), pool has about ten chairs in the sun and the other 80 are all in the shade. Overall: would return but at the adults only property, no breakfast, and not for the pool

On our last day in Alicante our kids had a BIG wish. A hotel with a pool. As parents we build anticipation and they were really excited. When we got to the pool it was closed due to a wedding. The kids were very disappointed, cried and felt their day had be ruined. Spotted many disappointed guests that also hadn’t been informed. * In general the hotel and staff were nice. We wanted a hotel with a pool and didn’t get that so I won’t be choosing this hotel again as I can’t be guaranteed the pool will be open.

We stayed at The Level on the fifth floor and the room was spectacular. The views, the service the amenities were wonderful. The breakfast with the live show was a real treat..! All the staff are friendly helpful and very courteous. Everything is so close by like the port, restaurants, cafes and the beach is at the doorstep. I will be coming back and recommending to all friends and family.

Hotel location was great, right by the beach and close to the center. The room in general was good. Very comfy bed. However, the walls were paper thin and you could hear everything going on other rooms and aisle. This was annoying because you couldn’t get proper rest due to all noise in the morning from cleaning staff and kids running down the aisle. The door to the balcony couldn’t be fully closed. The bathroom was missing basic stuff. Room cleaning wasn’t great. It seemed that they would only make the bed and that’s it. Had to complain about bathroom and room cleaning but no change was noticed.

Despite advertising the room as soundproof, it absolutely was not. You hear everything loudly in the halls as if there was no door. I even heard children despite it being an adults only section. The bartender at Bribone was rude to me twice. I stopped going. The customer service seemed uncaring and unwelcoming to me. I’ve stayed here several times, this time makes me not want to return.

Paid for the level, which was adult only. Level was completely over booked and the pool and pool area anre very tiny and only got one day to enjoy the pool out of the 5. I asked the front desk if it was always busy like this and she said yes. Then she suggested I use the main pool. Which I wouldn’t have a issue with other then the fact I paid for adults only cause I didn’t want to be around a bunch of kids running around, splashing, water and being obnoxious while I’m trying to enjoy a trip with my wife. Was pretty upset with the fact the levels desk even suggested that. I told her I paid for a certain service and expect to be able to use it and that maybe they shouldn’t over book their adults only at the level of they can’t support the guests with their tiny pool.

Booked this hotel so that our kid could swim in the outdoor pool, however it was closed for hotel guests until 7pm that day as there was a wedding… this was not notified/communicated when making the reservation… if I would’ve known that I would’ve booked a 5 star hotel in the city center with indoor pool instead! Came home after a nice dinner in the city and the only bar that was open was inside by the reception. No other options. Unfortunately the breakfast was not so good - it had many different options, but majority of the them were tasteless. Pancakes were burnt, omelette was tasteless and greasy, coffee was tasteless and no serving at the tables, etc. On the day in the checkout we finally got to swim in the pool, and it was ICE cold. My kid had blue lips after just 15 mins so the happiness was short lived. Parking was a public parking next door that cost us €20 for a day. We paid over €400 for a room per night so would’ve expected more.

Staff are very nice but wait for room was exceptionally long. Once we got our “upgraded”room (junior suite) it was directly over the pool and therefor no privacy to sit on deck and enjoy our distant ocean view at all. Bathroom door didn’t even close. Last years regular room was much nicer. Will not upgrade again, but staff were all very nice.

Very comfortable stay, great location and friendly staff. We didn’t eat at the hotel, there’s too many nice restaurants in Alicante, so can’t comment there. One concern I had was that the lifeguard at the pool was sometimes overworked because he was also responsible for the towel service. Not a problem for us as we’re strong swimmers, but might be a concern for those with kids? Would highly recommend for a couple for a break in great city!

As mentioned to hotel directly - the images of the pool are really misleading. The pool is tiny and the area that surrounds it - we chose the hotel specifically because of the pool as it was a family holiday - really disappointed. The pool cleanliness was also an issue - floating hair, water that wasn’t clean etc. Staff were good and breakfast was decent enough plus location was very good. The 1970’s build really starting to show it age and needs some TLC !!! All in all would we chose to go back there - resounding no - our family rated it a 3 out 10.
