Hotel ILUNION Pio XII

super nice inside and out- everyone was extremely friendly. its definitely not close to the centre of downtown but easy to get to the metro and get downtown. not many food options open late around so make sure to eat in the centre. the beds were rock hard and not comfy plus the rooms need to be sound proof. from 6-10am every morning all i heard was loud banging and screaming and kids running around.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the lobby to check-in, it looked very modern and well decorated. The room was not in as great condition as the lobby. It was clean but could use some updating (a few cracks in the tub, floorboard and wall paper were old, etc). I also had to go to the front desk twice because the lights did not turn on when I entered my key into the slot on the wall. Lastly the walls were very thin. One morning I could hear a family's whole conversation and other times I could hear chairs scrapping against the floor above my room. When I booked this hotel I knew it was not close to the city center. Thankfully, it was only a 5-10 minute walk to 2 different train stations. It was easy to get to the city center using the train, it just took 30 minutes. There also aren't too many restaurants immediately near the hotel.
