Families: Nearest tram is 1/4 mile away. nearest bus is 1/8 of a mile; use the cross walks,don't take chances crossing near gas station, not worth the risk. Only safety issue was one of the windows did not lock. General comments: cleaning crew is great, but hotel does not provide basic scouring powder for tub cleaning. Hotel: you need to buy this simple product that will save your employees back pain as well as get it clean better. We gave it a 4 for comfort since AC was not turned on yet due to season; all heat or AC for full hotel. Staff was great, we wished we had tried the restaurant and breakfast buffet more than just once. In short, great for couples, business-people, but families using public transportation should be be prepared for some walks and long commutes to beach. Even though we had long commutes, hotel was great to come back to each night. Staff made us treated as nice and sincere as their business people.
