Dreams Lanzarote Playa Dorada Resort & Spa

This is our second visit to Dreams, fantastic location for singles, couples and families however I was disappointed with the changes this year, eg no towels by the pool in privilege club, lack of choice in the privilege room ( ham sandwich only every day, what about the veggies) entertainment could be improved. It has just made my question if it is worth it next time to pay for the upgrade to privilege. On a positive note it is the staff that make this hotel, they can not do enough for you.

Nice stay. Hotel is lovely. The Good: A very nice, clean, comfortable resort hotel with lots of spaces to chill and relax. The 'perfered club' is worth it for the lounge and sea-legs pool area which seemed to be adults only and a little quieter than the main pool which had loud music and lots of families playing. So you could choose which you prefered. The spa and the spa staff were really lovely - I had two massages when there from Susana and Carla - and they were the highlight of the trip. Excellent. Definitely book in for a treatment (or two!) when you are staying here. The bad: Nothing too bad - the food was just a little bland and nothing too special. I didnt find the options good. But it depends what you like. Not all the restaurants are open the same days. No food or snacks at the pool bars, just drinks. There are nice places to eat 10 minutes walk away.

What a stunning hotel and I was lucky enough to get an upgrade when I arrived. The hotel, the rooms and pool areas are all very modern and it is in a gorgeous location. It is more suitable to adults rather than children (entertainment) but the 7 pools and slides in one of the pools is great for the kids. The only negative was the service in the buffet restaurant - they didnt seem to have a lot of staff so it was hard to get a drink and it seemed a little disorganised for a 5 star hotel.
