Ona Sueño Azul

Great stay over Christmas. Lots of space for a family of 4, well furnished, everything worked. We arrived late but instructions were easy to follow. We were given 2 wifi codes which was enough for us as we used our mobile data but might be an issue for some. Restaurant managed by an external company is great, tasty and reasonably priced. I don't think main swimming pool was heated though. All in all we'd gladly come back.

The name of the place is Wimpen Sueno Azul, not Ona. They only provide one pool towel per person for the whole week, no option to exchange them for clean ones all week! No extra towels either, just 6, changed twice in one week. Minimum amount of toilet paper too. Ridiculous that they make you pay for Wifi and to use the safe. No salt, sugar, coffee filters provided, just mini soaps and a bottle of water upon arrival and garbage bags. You wonder who takes all the kitchen condiments people buy, we left a box of 100 coffee filters that could be left for next guest for example... Other than that, the 3 bedroom unit was clean and well taken care of, so was the pool. Pretty quiet property, kid friendly, in a quiet town, a short walk from a small black sand beach, restaurants and shops

This resort is very friendly and welcoming. All the staff from management to housekeeping were very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The three bedroom bungalows are spacious and clean with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. I would however suggest the barbecues provided in the gardens have seen better days and should be replaced. The swimming pool is manned with a lifeguard and the children enjoyed using it every day. There were plenty of sun beds available. There is a pool bar open from 10 am serving food and we had some very good meals there. Overall we had a very enjoyable holiday and would recommend staying here.

Very nice quiet complex. Nearly everyone English there, and menu catered for that. Pool relatively warm in Feb. Shallow kids pool also. Free pool towels. Clean and easy to get beds. V friendly reception. Five mins walk to area of shops - v touristy area, did not feel any proximity to Spanish culture. Bed in the house we had was so hard I woke with pins and needles a number of times - single beds better (unsure if all villas have same furniture)
