Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa

The staff were incredibly supportive of us when our 15 month old daughter became I’ll. They arrange a doctor to visit us, and we’re constantly inquiring as to her health. The facilities were world class and our room perfectly appointed. Being an Expedia Gold member, we received a free upgrade of our room to a junior suite. We had to extend our stay by one day and the hotel only charged us the UN-upgraded room rate. All in all it was a very nice place to end our holiday in Mallorca.

In general we had a nice stay at the hotel, only a few things let it down. 1. Only supplied one bottle of water per person in the room per day. In a hot climate and paying €1,400 per night I would expect bottled water each day in addition to this. 2. My wife bought my daughter a cap from the kids club on the last day however the size provided was 1-2 years when my daughter is 6. Unfortunately she did not get the opportunity to try the cap on at the time. 3. We booked a taxi two days before we left, however it was over an hour late on the day of departure. I accept this is not entirely the hotels fault however at check in we were told to book 48 hours in advance to avoid a problem. Then on the day of departure told we were in a “queue” for a taxi is unacceptable. There is no point telling people to book two days in advance if you’re then put in a queue on the day. The attitude of most of the guys at the carpark was poor, unapologetic and generally unhelpful. Only when we involved a manager did things start to get moving. I don’t begrudge paying a premium for a transfer but the price we were offered was €220 when a taxi charged €75.

Room was big and comfortable, impeccable service everybody very helpful and friendly. Great pool area, in particular a specific pool area for kids, and the spa is absolutely top.

Excellent view and lovely staff!! Breakfast needed upgraded.. and very poor kids club. But it is worth visiting!!

Very nice hotel but aimed at the corporate market as opposed to family or couples. Very clean but the service at breakfast was lacking. Everything is done on apps including me yes and drinks. Nice but not for us.
