Hotel Eden

A beautiful, relaxed family trip to a fabulous hotel in this perfect part of Majorca

Good location just by the beach walk in Port de Soller. Good breakfast and dinner served each day. The chef seemed good at sustainability by recycling food in a creative way. Nice rooftop bar. The downside was the pool area - simply impossible to serve even 1/5 of the guests with the space available - it was all filled by families with small children so be prepared to use the beach instead.

Lovely stay at hotel Eden. Had a lovely family room with a sea view. Breakfast and dinner was lovely. Good service, spotlessly clean. Wish we stayed longer! Thank you hotel Eden we will be back

Plates in the buffet was never clean- had to turn around 5-6 plates before we found a OK clean plate. Also the knives and forks were sticky, I think they need new cutlery. The food lacked of taste, I rarely got any warm food, everything was over cooked. Very cold in the restaurant. The service people at the buffet was very nice. The receptionist took phone calls during our check in. Rooms were too cold with air conditioning on, and far to hot without. Pretty rooms and clean. Port de Soller is very nice. Lots of families with small children. The pool area is very small and full of children and toys.

Perfect location with the beach, shops and restaurants just outside the door. Beautiful view. You must pick a seaview room. It is just such a pity that the hotel doesn’t upgrade the hotel a bit. You eat brakfast and dinner inside, they could easily make a terrace outside in the garden by the entrance which is not used for anything. Pool area is very crowded. They should expand that as well to the garden by the entrance. Rooms are very small for 4 persons and guest bed is really uncomfortable. Our kids slept on it but if it had been adults it would have been impossible. The rooftop bar has a fantastic view but is not allowed for kids under 10 (a bit strange on a family hotel).

Extremely poor quality / price for this hotel. 400 euros for 2 adults and 2 children per night. The hotel room was super worn down. The aircon worked sometimes and stopped multiple times during the night. The sound isolation between rooms was non existing and worst in the bathroom area. You could hear all from talking to peeing from your neighbours… The beds and pillows were also terrible. The size of the room for 4 people was tight that even with 2 suitcases there wasn’t room to place them and put the cloths. The pool had 40/50 sun beds with maybe 20 / 30 umbrellas/sun shades for potentially 400/500 guests??? So yes welcome to being ready at 8:50 to run and save your spot for the day.., The breakfast was just of a charter hotel. Understaffed.. 1 cook on the floor egg station, was never enough. He (Ivan) was super good and fast but during peaks he couldn’t follow. The staff in the floor was great but sometimes it seemed also they were a bit understaff. The quality of the products of the buffet was just ok. 1 elevator for 7 floors which didn’t work on several occasions. I just don’t know how they can get 4 stars The positive,location close to the beach and the staff.. towel service for the pool.
