Hotel & Spa Ferrer Janeiro

The hotel had good amenities, was lovely and clean and close to the beach. Good buffet and kids entertainment in the bar in the evenings. Pool and grounds looks a lot smaller than appears in the image but were nice enough. Spa is tiny, we just spent our time on the beach anyway. Cons: No porters and key card was programmed wrong on entry but fixed quickly. No room service and upkeep of the room could be better (eg they didn’t refill coffee pods, provide extra water bottles (you can’t drink tap water) or provide fresh crockery after day 1, and the shower didn’t have shampoo or soap but was refilled on second day. I didn’t use the safe for Day 1 but asked for it Day 2 and still got charged two days regardless. Only 3 euros but still. Overall, as I paid a discounted price I was very happy with the place as we got to enjoy the beach conveniently.

This is not a escape to relax, this is an exciting family holiday with a lot of music and activities (up to 12 at night, under your window), busy pools and bars. Still, really enjoyed, the location is perfect, it was clean enough (although they never took our rubbish when cleaning the room). The restaurant was a bit weird - very strict times and no flexibility for a 10pm sandwich, but the food is good (when available). The spa is alright, the swimming pools are very cool and overall I really recommend it.

Booked an apartment thinking it was part of the hotel complex but it's not. It's nothing like the hotel the apartments are dreary and depressing. The front desk staff were unhelpful and at times rude. On the plus side the rooms within the hotel look like the pictures and are clean and comfortable. Food is good.not much of a selection but all fresh. Pool is small and children's entertainment is limited. We would not stay here again based on our experience in fact we left after 2 days. However had our stay started in the hotel rather than the apartment maybe we would have felt different.

Stayed here on b+b basis for 4 nights at end of July 2016. Couldn't fault hotel - rooms were clean and comfortable, staff were always happy to help. Hotel has two pools (one kiddy type pool and a larger deeper pool with some of it marked out for lane swimming). Beach is only a 5 minute walk away and there are a number of mini supermarket type shops which are open till 11pm opposite the hotel. Beach is only a 5 minute walk away, with loungers you can rent which also have a little safe so you can leave valuables whilst swimming. The area is quiet at night and feels safe to walk about at any time. Wifi is free in the lobby/pool/dining areas but costs €2 per day, per piece of equipment if you want to use it it the rooms. Guests get free use of the spa, and other services such as massages are very good and reasonably priced (we paid €88 for a couples full body massage which lasted over an hour). Hotel is disabled friendly as there are ramps available either at or in place of all stairs, and there are two lifts going to all floors

The hotel is at the very end of Alcudia bay. A taxi into Can Picafort where the majority of bars & restaurants was only around 4euros or a 20 minute stroll on the seafront. The hotel itself was great. Booked on a B&B basis, the range of food available until 10:15 was great, cooked, fruit, cheeses, meats, cereals and pastries. Nice touch of offering watermelon slices around the pool during the heat of the day. Did not think much of the hotel entertainment, but were not there for that but seemed to be a lot to keep kids entertained. Close to the sandy beach of Son Baulo. Great spa to use for most of the day too.
