Novotel Sevilla

When we checked in the first thing we noticed is a lack of a typical hotel reception. Turned out "reception" was just a laptop and staff member there by the table. Doesn't really matter just an interesting point. The moment the reception guy Ángel saw our little daughter he gave her a small Novotel teddy bear! I tell you that teddy bear went through casas and sierras castillos and cervezerias in in 14-day Spain trip so it was a very great way to make our kid remember her first trip abroad. Room was clean, big and well-eguipped so nothing to complain about that. One minor detail which I found a but uncomfortable was the water temperature in their rooftop pool. That's probably just me cos lots of people were swimming there happily but I felt like it couldn't be a bit warmer. Hotel is located along the EA-line (airport line) and it has few hundred meters to a metro station. Huge shopping mall, the Nervion Plaza is located basically at the same building than the hotel so it's very handy if you need ti grab something to eat or do some small shopping. All in all perfect stay and I'd stay here again any day! Thank you Novotel for the pleasant stay.

Convenient location, next to a mall and not too far from major attractions in Sevilla. The room was clean and spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. I recommend it.

Great location, clean rooms and good breakfast restairant. But, not very impressed with the food we got in the bar. We arrived late (just after 23h when the bar was closing) so we called the hotel and they proposed to keep a few burgers and pizzas on hold as the kitchen was closing. I assume it was from the "room service" card, but the food was not very pleasant to be honest, and I would have preferred the hotel had adviced us to find food just outside on the doorsteps where there are several bars and even a known burger restaurant chain if needed. Secondly, it was quite disappointing the pool was closed "for winter season" when it was +30 degree celsius during day time (20+ in the evening) and we were there for the kids school holiday. Spanish winters apparently starts very early, but not more than the pool and the bar on the roof top would have been open Friday and Saturday evening from 19-21h had we been there so apparently not too cold however!

Wifi connection is very poor, The rrom is too hot and I tried to switch on the AC but did not work very well. One of the lift did not work and it took my family and me 20 minutes to get down to the lobby. Hotel is in the main area, close to the plaza and cinemas. we could find Kebab Halal food near by
