Suitable for family to stay as it has spacious room

Fabulous hotel , an oasis in the centre of old Seville, very friendly, welcoming, spotlessly clean, great location , our room was amazing with definitely be recommending to family and friends

AVOID TERRIBLE ROOM, we stayed in the three person family room even though we were just two. The room was like a dark cave with close to no natural light. The lighting and decor were very cold. It is the only room on the ground floor. The window looks out on a shady courtyard where staff and visitors are constantly passing,. All in all a highly unpleasant experience.

Staying at the Hotel Casa del Poeta was like staying at a wealthy friend’s home. The interior spaces of the hotel are so beautifully appointed, but not arrogant and the staff is incredibly kind and very accommodating. We were so comfortable and so very taken with the luxurious Spanish colonial design; fountains, urns, colorful tiles, large plants, aromatic arrangements of fresh lilies, Baroque mirrors and comfy furnishings. The staff reflects this same design; well appointed yet inviting. Every person we encountered on the hotel staff was polite, professional, friendly, and very helpful. Each morning and night we felt as though we were in the good care of family; sincere and generous hospitality from start to finish. Travel details that can sometimes be cumbersome were managed by concierge with a smile. Taxi? Done. Reservations to amazing restaurant? Done. Tickets to this? Done. To that? Done. Need a converter, more coffee, water, directions, a cocktail? Done. And impromptu Spanish lessons! LOL, yes, they helped us with our Spanish in the most joyful way. Their associated restaurant, San Marco, was the best meal we have had in a long time and it was surprisingly very affordable (quality ingredients, chef’s creativity, and impeccable service greatly appreciated). I would recommend Hotel Casa del Poeta to anyone who is looking to enjoy the romantic essence of Sevilla; Spanish culture and hospitality at its best! We will be back.
