Nine Tree Premier Hotel Insadong

This was our favorite hotel! We were a family of four (2 kids ages 8 and 11) and the family room had a bunk bed and a full sized bed. The facilities were very clean, the restaurant was convenient, and there is a coin laundry on the 12th floor. The location was superb. Just steps away from Insadong culture street with so many restaurants and vendors selling traditional crafts and art. Also walking distance to many significant sight-seeing opportunities like palaces, etc. About 5 minutes to Anguk station. Would definitely stay here again in Seoul.

My family stayed at Nine Tree Hotel Insadong during our stay at Insadong. This hotel is ideally located as you can walk to many of the attractions such as Gwanghwamun, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong-gil (main shopping area) and Myeongdong Street. I didn't realize how convenient the location was until we started shopping around Insadong. There is an entrance to the Insadong-gil from the 1st floor of the building so that was nice. There are also restaurants and shops conveniently located in the same building so when the summer heat was unbearable, we ate and shopped around in the building. My only complaint was the room interior. When we checked into our triple bed room, we noticed on both sides of the room that the wall paper in certain areas had water damage and the wall paper was sticking out. Certain areas of the wall were also unpainted as if they forgot to do this. It just looked weird. Although, we were out and about most of the day, it was disappointing to see the room in mediocre condition for the price we paid. The room and bathroom were also small, but it was clean and manageable. The cleaning staff were nice and did a great job of house keeping during our stay. If location is important to your stay at Insadong, I would highly recommend Nine Tree at Insadong.

We highly recommend Nine Tree Premier Insadong! The family favorite was the excellent breakfast buffet included each morning - so many healthy choices and everything was consistently delicious. Rooms were clean and quiet. We travel a lot and were impressed with the comfortable and luxurious mattresses. Kids loved the bunk bed. The neighborhood is stellar for tourists! So many dining choices in the mall next door and charming Insadong-Gil is literally footsteps away. Angular subway was a quick walk. The sculpture and flower garden park was stunning and made for idyllic strolls. Highly recommend for visitors to Seoul!!!

Awesome view from the 14th floor, family room overlooking the temple and the palace. It had an extra power room, which was nice for three of us to share My second stay This time with my two daughters definitely recommend and will come back again.

Great stay! Great location. It’s away from the business of myeongdong, but close enough to walk it. About 20min walk with lots to see. Close to jongno where there’s plenty of food varieties. Jongno is about 10min walk. The hotel is located in the middle of insadong. Very artsy area that’s busy too but nice and quiet after about 9pm. We are a family of 4 and we booked the family room with a bunk bed. Super spacious. Loved every moment of it! Would definitely stay here again!

Respectful and helpful staff. We asked them to get us a taxi a few times which they speedily did with explanations where to meet the driver, then when we lost one of the breakfast coupons, they gave us a replacement without any interrogation or glares. Finally, when one of our family members lost their room key and later we found another lost key in the common area, the reception on desk counted the found key as a replacement for ours and did not charge any fee. Rooms are very clean and the cleaning staff is highly diligent when making the rooms. Towels and sheets are fresh and not old. All the amenities in the room work properly. The breakfast restaurant is clean and constantly taken care of, with staff cleaning the dishes and tables as soon as the guests leave. Lots of options for food, both local and international. Staff is friendly and helpful once again. Hotel is located next to a tourist/pedestrian walking street. Lots of cute stores with many souvenirs and other goods, and many cafes, mostly Korean. Walking fiestance to 2 palaces and the beautiful canal-park. About 20 mins away from the Seoul Station. Location is convenient if you plan to hit many touristy spots and enjoy the local cuisine. Overall, a pleasant, comfortable and enjoyable stay. Definitely recommend.

Our family of 4 (including a 10 year old and 12 year old) stayed 2 nights at the Ninetree in March 2024. This was our first stop after landing in Seoul. The beds were so comfortable and it was a relief to get some sleep after the long flight. The room is as described and the bathroom had a very nice toilet and shower. The room is set at 25 degrees C, so it was a little too warm for us Canadians. The room overlooks a rooftop garden and that was a pleasant surprise. This hotel is located in Insadong near craft/art shops and lots of restos. It's also walkable to Ikseondong, which is a lovely spot full of cafes. The taxi ride from Seoul station only costs around 7000 krw (approx $7 CAD). I highly recommend this hotel :)

For our first international trip with two kids, we found this hotel perfectly located to all the must see spots, Insta-worthy cafes, friendly staff and nice breakfast buffet at a reasonable price.

Excellent hotel, loved how clean the hotel was ,amenities are great, staff were really friendly and made my experience so much better. Thank you Nine tree Premier Hotel Insadong for making our family vacation and amazing holiday.
