Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, an IHG Hotel

I stayed in a classic king room on a high floor and my teenage kids stayed in junior suite. The rooms were elegant and very clean. Plush bedding. Fantastic location - the Coex Mall is underneath the hotel and you can walk to Bongeunsa and Jamsil to attend a baseball game. I highly recommend this hotel!

Amazing stay, we will be happy to return here! So clean, and it is located perfectly for eateries and endless shopping. We asked for an early check-in and the hotel was very accommodating to our need. Both the front desk and the concierge desk staff were courteous and helpful. We stayed at a junior suite with two teens and the room was spacious (given that it is in the heart of Seoul), and the beds were comfortable. Swimming was delightful for the father and the son duo, and the breakfast buffet was very pleasant as well with many Western and Eastern options. It was also great to have a well stocked and clean GS25 convenience store on the ground level for a quick stop for any essentials. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would love to be back soon.

5 stars. The hotel is impeccable. Service over the top. Any questions are answered respectfully by the most helpful staff. We included breakfast for the 2 days we stayed there, and it was well worth it. It is attached to the Hyundai Department Store which has a food court on the basement level, which has very good food. I booked 2 standard rooms for my family of 4; the rooms are small by western standards so it just made everything more relaxed. We were well within walking distance to the Jamsil baseball field, and enjoyed the best baseball game, Korean style! If you are able to do so, highly recommend. The staff here are amazing, from the front desk, concierge and bell hops. We stayed at a few top notch hotels during our stay in Korea, and I would say the staff here was the best we have encountered. While being a high end hotel, the staff answered all questions with a smile and with zero snooty attitude. As we needed to call a larger taxi (recommend IM taxi for a comfortable ride for a family of 4 with luggage), I requested IM taxi. The taxi attendant, Pratt Jung, saw on his app that one had just driven away. He ran off and disappeared, and I was a tad confused, until he ran back with the taxi following close behind. Talk about above and beyond! Experiences like that are what makes hotels stand out and earn repeat business. Thank you, Grand Intercontinental, for a wonderful end to our trip. 감사합니다

Fantastic throughout our 9 day stay. Staff was attentive, able to communicate easily in English since our Korean language ability is limited. Enormous buffet breakfast in the Grand Kitchen was always the highlight of our day. We had family over for weekend brunch and was completely impressed with the quality and vast array of offerings. High tea in the lobby lounge was just a lovely experience. Entire hotel is brand spanking new after a remodel in 2020, and our room was immaculate. Love the proximity to restaurants and shopping below ground and at the Coex next door. Will happily stay here again next time we visit Seoul.

Other than my kids, 10 years and 12 years old boys, were not allowed to swim at the pool because they are under 14 years, the rest all excellent.
