Hotel Park

Hotel location is fantastic and first impressions on arrival in the lobby were good. We selected a lake view room and that was by far the best thing about the hotel (to be honest, it's the only reason I would go back if I could find a good alternative). The big issue was the room, which was dated, lacked any character or warmth, had a sub-standard aircon, a shower that alternated between too hot and cold when in use, an antediluvian hair drier and the double bed was 2 singles. We travel a lot and expect better from a modern 4-star. Breakfast has a good variety of acceptable food but is a real free-for-all with the numerous multicultural coach trips which use the hotel. Staff at reception also seem to spend more time on computer or phones than payIng attention to their clients. Parking is free for patrons. Bled Lake, I should stress, is stunning and an absolute must-see if in Slovenia with plenty of things to do and see for couples and families.
