Perfect property to stay with family and be close to masjid el Nabawi …. My only conern was guests’ hygiene and food bars need to be monitored by staff for the health safety of all guests …. People do strange things that is soo unhygienic:(

Amazing food, vest location for families. Shower floods the bathroom, skirting boards mouldy. Lifts take long, but OK if leaving 30mins before azaan. MOST IMPORTANTLY Despite paying alot of money - made to feel like 2nd class guest. Shortage of table at dinner time - was told to sit anywhere, then told to move as table was reserved for VIP, despite not having anything to indicate it was reserved. Certain entrances are only for VIP, so then you have to walk round. Hotel would be awesome if they treated everyone equally.

Very disappointing experience. Request 2 rooms close to each other as I have young baby and old parents. They put us on different floors. Breakfast time have to wait 15/20mins for high chair. The waiters don’t serve you properly unless you give them tip. Concierge did not put all my luggage in taxi. I arrived at airport with luggage missing. I had to return to hotel to collect luggage which cost me extra money and also nearly miss my flight. I am awaiting a call back from management but still not received.

Close to Masjid AlNabawi and shoping area. - The family suit is basicly a combination of junir suit room and another adjacent twin room. Not exactly a family suit with two bed rooms at all.

We stayed at the Shahd Al Madinah (opposite the Madinah Hilton with a Mobily Shop on the ground floor). This was previously called the Shaza Al Madinah. We stayed there with my family for 2 nights as part of our Umrah trip. Our stay was great and everything was fine except that our rooms took a little time to prepare and they were in different ends of the same floor. We had booked and paid for an extra night so that we could go to our rooms at 12pm upon arrival... This was difficult due to disabled family members. However, Faisal and his colleague (Fatima) were great and helped sort out the problems with the rooms. Breakfast was nice and the rooms were nice and spacious and clean. The main thing is the great central location to Nabisaab's Haraam (Masjid Al Nawabi) being only a few metres away. There are lots of shops and amenities close by including a KFC and MacDonalds just opposite the hotel with Mobily, STC and Zain Mobile shops underneath the hotel. I would highly recommend the Shahd Al Madinah. But contact the hotel in advance with any requirements for rooms e.g. handicapped room. I hope this review helps and I kindly as anyone who finds it helpful to make Dua for me and my Family.

The hotel staff are very friendly, especially Mr Mohamed who is in charge of the lower floors and Mr Sami who is in charge of the higher floors. They both made our experience exceptional. They are incredible, kind, courteous, and possess excellent communication and people’s skills. Thank you! The reception staff can benefit from being more prompt. We waited too long to get the room keys and other families waited too long as well.

It's a very good hotel. Very close to the Masjid. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable. I was upgraded to a junior suite which was very spacious specially because we had a child with us.
