Staff spoke Spanish only. Reserved 3 months ahead of time, but had to wait in my car for the last room right by the office to be cleaned. I stayed only 1 night it was such a bad night's sleep, but had to pay minimum 2. This is more glamping for sure. Room has beds, but not comfortable. Pillows thin and hard - terrible. No mini fridge. No screens to open windows. I guess the young families were having a nice time, but not a good match for an old nature lover. People were noisy, even out in the woods talking loudly. At the rooms playing TVs and music along with loud voices. It poured rain and there are no mats for wiping feet. Loved hearing the owl and coqui at night once the peiople finally went quiet.

4 out of 5 stars

Traveling to the property is difficult as it is up a steep mountain and on a winding road. The roads are poorly lit and it is dangerous. However, the rooms are clean. The view is gorgeous. The pool is small for all the guests but it is still enjoyable. The restaurant is very limited and doesn’t serve many option. It also runs out of popular items quickly and has a very small selection. But there are chickens and sheep you can pet for the kids. The staff is friendly.

I like everything about it. It was clean, staff was super friendly, the town was great, the food, the coffee, the breakfast was outstanding. We went on a family hike to "El Salto Curet"; a river that is really close to the Hacienda. It was amazing. I love Puerto Rico and Hacienda Juanita is outstanding, Thank you!
