Good little hotel and facilities for young children. We had a lovely stay and would return. Only downside was the room was a bit small for the four of us but then again we were out and about for most of the days. Location good and only a €4 Uber ride into the old town

We traveled as a family, and found the novotel very family friendly. The playground inside (with ikea Kitchen, ikea tunnel, ikea darts, etc) and outside (slide, check) at the beautiful garden. The rooms are big enough for 2 adults and two small children.
The only thing is, the kids pool was a bit dirty as everyone has to walk through it, to get to the adults pool.

My family enjoyed the amenities of the hotel. It’s was a little disappointment to came to our room and not found it clean, specially the bathroom.

The rooms were quite smqll , but ok. We stayed with our 2 Teenage kids, so 4 persons. But it was ok. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
breakfast was also good wirh lots of options, pancakes, scrambled eggs, freah fruits & soy milk.
you can walk about 30 minutes to the bridge to cross to potlrto old town or by taxi, about 5-6€.
overall a nice hotel!

Nice hotel with swimming pool! Perfect for families! Close to city center and tourist attractions. Polite and helpful staff! Special thanks to Carlos and others at the reception desk for their assistance during our stays!
Important tips for those will stay here: Do not rely on Google Maps if you want to walk back to hotel from city. It suggests a way that does not exist for pedestrians! (on the highway) Get a taxi/uber/bolt if you can instead! :-)

Pros: awesome breakfast, very friendly staff and front desk, kids/family friendly, good location (10 min drive to downtown Porto). The hotel and rooms are very clean (except pool, see below).
Cons: the property needs to some renovation, in particular the rooms/bathrooms need to be updated/refreshed. The swimming pool needs to be cleaned more often.

The property is well maintained and staff is very helpful. We had our 2 kids with us and the sofa bed was great. We enjoyed our stay!

I love this hotel because it has a wide-open reception and a children's play area next to it so whenever we visit my daughter always makes a friend or enjoys the play area in the summer you'll have a warm pool which unlike other porto pools - the staff are super friendly and they really go out of their way and the breakfast was so nice and also I really love the outside play area and can't recommend this hotel enough
