Stunning building in a great location. We had a mezzanine room which went down well with the children. Lovely, if busy, breakfast. But then that's what happens when you're being lazy on holiday. 10min walk to main area along the driver towards the bridge, and easy walk from the old town. Rooftop bar was a bonus as well.

The view from the hotel is fantastic, and the staff at the hotel was amazing! While in Porto, my mother-in-law slipped on one of the bridges and broke her ankle. We spent about 5 hours at the hospital and everything was closed when we finally got back to the hotel. The staff reopened the kitchen for us so we could get something to eat and even assisted me in carrying the food for my family to our rooms since my mother-in-law couldn't walk. They really went above and beyond to help their guests.
