Eurostars Porto Douro

The staff, top to bottom were outstandingly accommodating. Had an issue with A/C so they took no time in getting me into another room eventhough it was a larger apartment room and gave my wife and I free breakfast the rest of our stay.Whatever we needed, they fulfilled the task.Nice 4-star hotel with a wonderful and safe location. This hotel would serve a family trip without question. So glad I picked this hotel and if I visit Porto again, I will certainly stay here !

I was hoping for a great vacation with my family instead I found my stay to be less than desirable: The first rooms they gave us were cramped and no view, 1st day power outage, second day fire drill with shrill alarms and smoke that lasted hours, remainder of stay the room ac was stuck at 23 C which was too hot for our group that included elderly and people with health issues. There was also a dirty cleaning rag, garbage and wine cup left for 4 days in our room that were left untouched even though the rest of the room was cleaned out - unexplainable. Every time we raised our concerns to the front desk they made up a story to explain away the incident which was disrespectful and improper.

This is a great spot to see the bridges and explore the town. We had adjoining rooms for our family of 4 and a beautiful balcony overlooking the river. Would highly recommend. Parking was a bit tricky, we had to park on the shoulder of the rode a few blocks away.

Beautiful well kept property in great location. Everything is within waking distances. Breakfast was my family's favorite thing at hotel. You cannot go wrong staying here. Will be back.
