Lagoas Park Hotel

My family and I had a wonderful time at Lagoas Park Hotel. We normally do not write reviews but, in this case, we feel compel to share our experience with prospective guests. The hotel is located in a suburb, west of Lisbon, thus outside of the hustle and bustle of urban living. But, with the wide availability of Uber (inexpensive and less than 5 minutes away), it was very easy to go to the city whenever we wanted and visit local hotspots including Cascias and Sintra. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The front desk staff is superb, exhibiting a friendly and welcoming attitude towards us from arrival to departure. In at least two occasions, they graciously offered a chauffered minivan to take us to the local mall. We also enjoyed the rich and delicious buffet-style breakfast offered by the hotel. We will certainly stay at this hotel if we happen to be in Lisbon.

This place is fabulous and ideal. We are a family of 4 and stayed a cumulative 7 days at this hotel. The place is nice, family rooms include 2 separate single beds for the children (a must for us!), room is spacious (we had a total of 12 suitcases with us and easily fit in the room), bathroom/shower work very well. It was particularly convenient for us as we had a rental car: parking inside the hotel is free, secure, and it's an easy 20 min drive to Lisbon downtown or 25min to the airport. The breakfast buffet is typically included and is of good quality (and I'm picky on breakfast...). The access to the Health Center for fitness and lap pool is fabulous! Only inconvenient (or advantage...) is that it's only for 16 years old and over, so our 2 teenagers were not allowed to go, which we knew prior to making our reservation anyways. It's also ideally located being between the main areas to visit: by car, it's 20 minutes from downtown Lisbon, 15 min from Carcais and about 20minutes from La Roca (Western most point of Europe) and from fabulous Sintra. I'd recommend this place to anyone willing to be a bit outside downtown area, while having easy access to all main sites/attractions. Best suited for those with rental cars, but can work for any alternatives with Taxi/Bus.
