Pestana Promenade Ocean Resort Hotel

Spent 3 nights I’m seaview room. The room was modern, clean and had a big balcony overlooking pool. Breakfast is very good. Dinner buffet was just ok but there are many options in the area. The hop-on-hop-off bus stops right beside it so very convenient for tourists. I used the spa services twice and was satisfied with massages. Pool area is well maintained but you need to get there early to get a lounge chair or wait till after 5 pm. My only issues are: very slow elevators and the hallways are dark because the lights are on motion detector- creepy if you are solo traveler and unsafe for elderly. Also, the changing rooms in the spa are in need of renovation- way too small. Good place for families and couples.
