Pestana CR7 Lisboa

Lisbon was great. The hotel was in a good location, within walking distance to the coast and lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself could be inproved. We had issues with the air conditioning which kept increasing temperature and found the room hot and uncomfortable. We notified staff though no fix. Soundproofing to the hallway wasn't great either which didn't help with kids running up and down the stairs and hallway at night. The shower extractor was useless, having to leave the door open before it turned into a steam room. They could also do with a new iron as the one they kept sending us was broken from the ceramic plate.

I thought the location of the hotel was fantastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Things that I didn’t find good was that there was a couple with a young baby either next room or above me and I could hear the baby crying throughout the night. Also being woken up at 9 am by cleaning staff knocking then entering my room was not good. That time is way too early. I appreciate that rooms need to be cleaned but people are either waking up, showering or having breakfast and don’t expect to have your space invaded that early in the morning. Regards Jim McGurk

Great location, very comfortable and modern room (our room and bathroom was really spacious!), complimentary drink on arrival, helpful and friendly service, really nice breakfast and over a great stay! Only minus were rather hard matrasses, and glass wall and door between the bathroom and bedroom - who ever thought that was a good idea!? There was a sheer curtain that could be drawn in front of the glass wall (needless to say, it stayed closed our entire stay), but the door did not close tight around the edges so it was possible to see in. Who wants to watch a friend or family member doing their stuff in the bathroom?! Not to mention hear every sound.. too much information! ;-) Other than that - great stay and would stay again!
