In many ways, the stay was like my previous two visits: the room was comfy, the grounds pretty, the breakfast buffet a good one. But there were a few problems/flaws. 1) Between booking the reservation and showing up, the time for when kids may use the indoor pool changed, and it was changed to a time that made my son using it impossible. These things happen, but it's irksome when that was a key reason we were there in the first place. 2) The front desk billed me for two tourist taxes, even though my son is nine and therefore exempt. I didn't realize this until after the fact. It's a small thing, but still. 3) I'm a builder, so of course I noticed the gaps in the LVP flooring used in a recent renovation. It's the kind of thing that if it had happened under my supervision, I would have demanded it be redone or else fired the subcontractor.

Overall our stay was excellent. Great food, very nice room, beautiful pool (although not heated), nice grounds for walking, and excellent workout/sauna room. The only issue we had was that a large party had booked the restaurant (with about a dozen pre teen kids). The kids were allowed to run around the entire restaurant and make as much noise as they wanted. Pretty much ruined that evenings dinner

Beautiful property. Lovely pool that was fairly quiet during the week compared to other mainstream resorts. We were there during a heat wave and the air conditioning in the hotel room could not keep up. The lighting in the hotel room was also challenging. There really wasn’t an area well lit enough to do my make up. Which was a little frustrating since we were there for a wedding. Overall staff is very friendly and helpful when asked. We did have to ask for amenities to be restocked in the room such as coffee pods and towels. It has more of a long-term rental vibe than a traditional Sheraton / Marriott vibe. I wish they included a binder or book in the room with all the hotel details, offerings and local attractions. We likely wouldn’t stay here again as a couple. However for a family with kids looking for some space and tranquility this resort is a great find.

I booked a junior suite. Front desk and concierge staff was fantastic. House keeping is terrible. Dirty and sticky kitchen floor, things left remained in dish washer whether washed or unwashed. Water or coffee don’t get refilled everyday. Tap water left overnight has white sediments. Squeaky air conditioning in the living room. Outdoor furniture is not checked and cleaned everyday to remove bird droppings.
