Warsaw Marriott Hotel

Well this was a tired 5 star hotel. The lobby was gorgeous and it felt exclusive but once you entered the lifts it felt like going 30 years back in time. Even worse going into the room. Carpets in hotel rooms are nasty and so outdated. The furniture was outdated and the bed had a freakin pee sheet on it. I was wondering why I felt so icky and sweaty. Just to figure out I was laying like a baby on a plastic pee sheet. It felt awful. Even tho everything was outdated, everything still was in good condition. The view saved it even tho we got “the bad side”. The pool and hot tubs was a nice feature but again it felt like going back in time. Holy moly. Also it should’ve been age restricted after 6 pm or so. Didn’t feel relaxing at all with a lot of kids. The bar at the top was a waste of time. Almost no seats next to the windows so you could barely enjoy the view. Very odd placement of the bar area blocking the entire view. Overall it was an ok stay. We didn’t try the breakfast. Way to expensive. But the location was great. Close to everything you need. But I won’t be booking this again as you could have a better experience across the road at the newer hotels like NYX.
