We booked the Executive Suite and was worth it. The room was large and very spacious and had 2 toilets, which was helpful with 2 kids. I wish they would offer the Executive Suite with an option for 2 queen beds, but they only offer 1 king. Access to the Premiere Lounge was worth it, we went to the lounge for breakfast, which was less crowded than the main restaurant although selection was limited, we went for the cocktail hour for a glass of wine/beer and some snacks. Totally convenient location with grocery store, mall, and restaurants all across the street. Would definitely stay again.

We were almost frustrated that the room we booked doesn't have a smart TV but thanks to the manager's sound judgment which made our stay a memorable one and fun. There was a kid's club that gives guest 30mins free entrance. It was like a mini Kidzoona. The kid's pool floor though was rough. It caused a small bruise on my husband's knee when he was attending to the kids while swimming. I'm not sure if it was designed to be rough so as to avoid slippery floor. I can't remember if the adults' pool is the same.

This was our second time staying at Novotel and after this stay we will definitely be making Novotel Manila Araneta our hotel of choice whenever we stay in Manila! We love the hotel, buffet breakfast selection, amenities, service and not to mention the location is great! Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. We love that it's also family friendly as we have a toddler and baby.

We stayed a many Novotel hotels in Paris and this one gave us such a bad taste for our last night in Manila. We booked for two adults and one child. Upon check in, they assured us that our 13 yr old could sleep in the sofa bed. In the bedroom, we realized the sofa was a small couch. No sheets were prepared. Our child couldn't sleep there. We asked 4 times for a bed. Staff said they would come. No one ever came. We had to go down to reception at 8pm. The front desk manager was extremely rude, and trying to overpower us. He said first that our child should sleep in our bed and was trying to give us a lesson. As a woman, I felt he was mansplaning me with his tone. He was not interested at all at solving our problem and was calling upon his staff to confirm he was right. In the end, they brought us a rolling bed at no cost. But at 9pm, they called us in our room to ask if we could ensure to pay our tabs at the restaurant. That was quite unpleasant and invasive to be called so late at night and felt uneasy about the point they were trying to make. The day after, we asked where to do an antigen test for travel. The reception said "just look it up online". When we had the nurse come over, the hotel created all sorts of problems to have him checked in. They said first they'd let them go up and when they showed up, they wanted to send their own nurse. Such a miscommunication and a poorly trained staff. We would not recommend to stay at this place.
