Discrepancy between room amenities and size for junior suites was disgusting. Reception was rude and condescending.

Great location. Hotel was located near restaurants and museums. Breakfast was outstanding. Beds were comfortable. My entire family enjoyed our stay.

The room is small for a junior suite compared to other hotels in Tromso. There is no sauna or spa at hotel. Staff was nice and breakfast was a nice selection of breakfast food

Excellent location, a great base for exploring Tromsø, excellent breakfast and a very smart modern hotel overall. My only negative comment would be the size of the room. Technically there were two pull down beds but only one was needed for my 10yr old and it made the room feel quite cramped, especially when you add in luggage. I can only imagine that with two adults and two children it would be almost claustrophobic.

I canceled my trip three weeks prior due to the October 7th terrorist attack in Israel. Given prevalent terrorist activities and the heightened risks, it wasn't feasible to leave my family. While other establishments showed understanding and concern by canceling reservations, Scandic Ishavshotel adhered to rigid policies, seemingly prioritizing profit over guest well-being. I won't be booking with them again.

We really enjoyed our stay here as a couple before and have returned with other family members. Breakfast had a great choice. Location excellent with bus stops nearby and airport express stop outside. Staff really helpful and our rooms pleasant and clean.
