Never again! It was our wedding anniversary trip to Amsterdam. We traveled with our 3-year-old daughter. Since the hotel's policy in regards to kids unclear, I called and ask specifically if it was okay to stay with a 3-year-old without an extra bed. A male hotel representative answered that it was totally fine not to book an extra bed for our child. Upon arrival, they asked us to pay for a baby cot (where a 3-year-old doesn't fit) 15 euro per night claiming that it was their safety policy. We had to pay even though we did not use that baby cot. In addition, the mattresses on our bed, which was made of two single beds , were always sliding off. How about that safety issue, managers of the hotel???

DAVID you rock! he noticed it was my birthday without a word & happier then me! He gave us a short list of places to visit. The hotel & his family are lucky to have his graciousness, he stated the hotel would have a gift for My Bday but the following day a not so pleasant reception lady that afternoon stated it wasn’t something they did. But that night David was back I told him what happened he poured us a glass of wine to take back to our room & the “world was alright with me” thank you I wish I could have stayed longer- - until next time, love from NY Cristina

The hotel is pleasant, clean, comfortable. We found the staff to be friendly. They left my kid a nice note, with a bar of chocolate, on their birthday, which happened to be during our stay. The hotel is in a good location. Unfortunately, I got several bed bug bites during my stay, and that experience has colored my impression of the hotel. This can happen in any hotel, particularly mid-tier/budget hotels like this one. Management assured us that they would shut down the room and manage the issue.
