Résidence Dar Lamia Marrakech

What a lovely oasis. We stayed in a deluxe villa which comfortably fitted the family. Lovely private pool. Resort facilities were decent and staff really great.

The villas are great for big families or gatherings!

We stay regularly at Dar Lamia because of its beauty and relaxed vibe. This time we were priviledged to be upgraded from one of their beautiful boutique hotel rooms to an incredible villa with a private courtyard pool. I would strongly recommend these villas for family holidays, or the boutique hotel rooms for couples.

Rented a villa with 2 bedrooms and private pool. Villa was ok, pool unheated. Erratic free wifi; sometimes it worked somewhat, other times not at all. Friendly service in the restaurant, but they were incredibly slow! Food wasn’t exactly to die for either. The hotel is located off a gravel road in the middle of nowhere. To sum it up; they try to be a 4 star + hotel, but unable to live up to that standard. Beautiful buildings and pool area, but that’s not enough when: staff is inexperienced, food is below average, lights are missing in the garden and you trip several times on your way back to your room (before you realize you have to turn on the flashlight on your phone before you leave the restaurant...), swimming pool is so cold that only your kids dare to take a plunge, and the immediate surroundings consist of unfinished construction. You are better off staying somewhere else. Don’t let the pretty photos fool you.
