Barcelo Palmeraie

This property is a good option to stay in if you do not mind staying around 20 mins away from Marrakesh. They do run daily shuttles but the last one is at 8 pm so you have to plan your day accordingly. The taxi fares are otherwise quite expensive which we ended up paying. Otherwise, there is quite a lot to do within the property itself, breakfast was good, a few restaurants of good quality in the property to dine in and activities for the kids.

Great hotel, well maintained beautiful grounds. Nice choice of pools. Various activities for all ages, kids club was decent too. A little out the way from the city centre but free hotel shuttle bus runs regularly. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at the Barcelo. We travelled with our one year old child and parents. The staff were amazing, very helpful and always attentive. The food was good. They had a range of activities including tennis, mini golf, volley ball and kids club. The swimming pools were clean and lovely. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back or visit their sister hotels across the globe.

Good 5 star hotel. Amazing meals, people don’t speak English much as they mostly speak French but they do understand your needs and are really helpful. Everyone at front desk speaks English. Our kids loved it too.

We traveled with an infant and a toddler and this was an over the top experience. Hotel was really nice, and unique. The room (Suite Deluxe) was of large, nice and comfortable. But the best of all was the people. The nicest personnel who always did the little extra to assist us and the kids all the time. Would also recommended the all-inclusive option. Each day was filled with really great food, with a lot of variety. The snack bar had nice additions and ice-cream that the kids (and grownups) loved. The resort had a unique look with each room as separate houses. Wonderful pool area and our two year old loved the kids village. They had animals and a large play area; both outdoors and indoors. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Marrakech.
