Beautiful cabanas right on the beach towards the far end of the zona hoteleria. This is a quiet, family friendly eco resort that makes a perfect home base for adventures around the Riviera Maya. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious, as well as a fraction of the cost of similar rooms nearby. This is NOT a party hotel, look elsewhere for that. Free delicious breakfast right across the street and they will even deliver lunch to the beach for you! Ocean is clean and safe to swim in and there is a beautiful pool. Be aware that the shower and sinks are filtered saltwater only but fresh drinking water is provided. Can't recommend enough. Thank you Nueva Vida for your hospitality!

This hotel has a great location. It is walkable to all the bars, restaurants and stores and on the same time is located in a peaceful area. Ricardo the receptionist was wonderful, helped us with transportation and answered all of our questions about activities. I recommend this hotel to friends and families.

We booked a girls trip from Miami to Tulum to have some fun and make some great memories. Everything was going great until we stepped off our plane. Want to take a taxi? $50. MINIMUM (NOT PESOS, DOLLARS), but okay that's just where it starts. Every place you step your feet into is ready to take advantage of you, a dinner at Komodo will run you the same as a dinner in Tulum. I get that stuff has gone up, but Mexico is still in fact Mexico. We found a really cute strip mall, might as well have just gone to Gucci and bought the store. $500 for a dress IN MEXICO?? (AGAIN NOT PESOS, DOLLARS). Keep in mind this entire time, we were not even speaking English, so only God knows what it would have been if we were. Want to enjoy the beautiful beach? What you get to enjoy is little children being sent by their parents trying to get money from you. Oh want some coconut water while you enjoy the beach? Great! The price is different each time you get one, from the same guy. We stayed at a beautiful hotel right on the beach, and we thought everything was great. Breakfast was included with our rooms, but want coffee? Oh that'll be an extra $4, until our last day when the shift changed and the only nice person we interacted with told us it was actually $2. Then, we found a cute handmade ceramic store, and we bought a little dog for $110...okay. Got to the airport, the exact same little dog was $65. Imagine a place where stuff at the airport is cheaper than anywhere else. If that doesn't tell

We loved the bungalow facing the water, easy access to beach, family and young neighbors, privacy and 24 hour security ease of mind. Breakfast at the restaurant across the street was fantastic!
